Kids App, Lipa Land!

The Playful Box made our day. As we tossed all favorite toys into the box and the kids took turns at picking anyone and hiding it from all other players. My eyes were closed and I picked up a toy. I exclaimed, its yellow colored, has a furry texture and a brown ribbon… What can it be? And Arham proclaimed at my back, it’s my Bunny, the plushie in the box. Yay, and it was my turn to guess now!

Who said kids need those costly games and toys? Even a table napkin can make them creative.  All that you need is the strategy and right approach!

This simple Playful box turned out to be an amusing game. And for me, as a parent, it refined the communication skills and improved the attention span. This game required a child to describe the toy he/she picked up efficiently so that others could recognize it. And once on the other side of the table, they had to guess correctly, which worked best when kids were attentive. Did you notice that there were various stimuli involved here? Quite an easy-peasy, yet pleasurable and memory enhancing game.

So, it’s time to check out a Safe, Ads free Family app, Lipa Land. Well, I was recently looking out for a guarded and mindful app for my 4yo. I came across Lipa Land and downloaded it. Looking at the unique characters with the varied category, I was amused in the first hit. Their every activity is harmonized with real-world knowledge.

Why you too need to have Lipa Land app for your kids:

1. Activities:

How about utilizing the “waste” wooden bricks? Why not ink alphabets on them, jumble up and make out words with them? Arham is learning 3 and 4 letter words and creating various interesting words from these bricks have become fun now.

Vibrant, colorful stories, backed by age-appropriate wisdom. Well, stories are an inherent part of kids learning. Every child has an instinctive love for stories, what matters is how frequent we dwell into it. The stories are categorized into easy, medium, hard categories. So, identify your category and enter into the fascinating world of story-land.

Quite tired and you don’t wish to read aloud? Then worry not, as many stories have the “audio” feature as well. Simply listening to the story together, will make your task much easier. The matchless feature is that all the stories developed by Lipa Learning team, have a connection with the real world. Be it fantasy, as to how Venus found her Moon prince, but it aroused curiosity in the mind of kids wrt Venus, the planet. Let me tell you, we had to visit Planetarium as the final request.

Last day I witnessed Arham playing “Trash Hunters” and later he queried me as to why people throw trash into the oceans. Now, as the name suggests, the player has to collect all the garbage from the bottom of the sea without getting any fish into the net. Just by the means of a simple play, he tried understanding the basics about conserving our oceans and recycling of the waste.

It was also developing his empathetic skills and raising environmental awareness.

4. Time Limit:

Yes, Lipa Land app is really mindful. Though the time limit is up to you, Lipa Land cites, “Based on the results of many studies, we recommend 45 minutes a day”. Sounds decent? Stop searching for your stopwatches or setting alarms in mobile.

Here you can create your child’s profile, one or more. As kids pounce upon to play the games, you can very well set the Playtime limit, be it 5 or 15 minutes. Once your kid reaches the set time limit, you’ll be alerted of the same. If you wish to extend the time, you can do so, with the code for the grownups.

Now that gave me a breather that even if I’m engrossed in my work, I’ve set up a time limit for my child’s screen time.

5. Progress:

Since Lipa Land is an educational app, I’m sure; you would like to see your child’s progress. In the Progress section, you can have a look at the games played, total time spent, and the best part, which skill set did that game developed. You can use these progress hints and work on various skill-building activities for your kids. You can also allow the notifications to get all these useful info.
