Dr. Seuss Story Books you must read to your child

Dr. Seuss Story Books you need to read aloud to kids:

Our previous post of Julia Donaldson books gave a great response from readers, with lots of DM’s on Facebook and Instagram as well. This motivated me to share the next set of story books, which I love to read aloud to my son, with lots of fun elements into it. And this time, it is all about our favorite books by great Dr. Seuss.

Books by Dr. Seuss are much simpler with catchy illustrations, kooky yet humorous characters and laden with amazing tongue-twisting rhymic stories. Dr. Seuss story books can be tapped as some of the best books for our early readers. In our home Library, we’re having a mix of the set, with some books focussing on self-reading by my lil man, who is 4.8. Since he has started reading sentences now, these books are helping immensely in our journey. Yes, at times, I also go reading aloud with our fun activities.

Best 5 Story Books by Dr. Seuss for Kids between 3-6years:

Okay, so let me confess, you can even read some of these books to your 2year old, I missed using these books then, but you can certainly do that for a good read.

1. Green Eggs and Ham :

With around 9million copies sold worldwide, it’s no fact why Green Eggs and Ham is our mom-son duo favorite. One of the fantastic books, having just 50 words, make it a fun read for the beginners. Hence it is perfect for picture reading (2-4.5years) and an enjoyable read for kids between 4.5+-6years (well, on their own). And nonetheless, you can always read aloud to toddlers.

The story is of Sam-I-Am, who likes his Green Eggs and Ham and as per him, there is no such place where you cannot eat it. On the contrary, the book has a character, who does not even like the thought of Green Egg and Ham. How Sam-I-Am, persistently follows this character through various dining locations, with various dining partners (animal family – fox, mouse, goat). Does he gives up and tries Green Egg and Ham?
