While your friends and family have the option of contributing towards any gift, people prefer to get an entire gift by themselves. So choose items in a variety of price points so there can be something for everyone’s budget.
4. Don’t feel awkward
This one’s the most important rule of creating the perfect baby registry. As an expecting mom, you’ll have a lot on your plate and may not find time to go and get everything you need. On the other hand, your friends and family will be getting you gifts in any case, and knowing what you want will make it easy for them. Plus they will know that their gift was lovingly used. Baby Gift Registry is a cool idea. It avoids duplication of gifts and also you can have things which you truly need. I remember that I got so many gift hampers of J&J products. Incidentally, my son was allergic to a few J&J products so we couldnt use any and had to give to our family and friends!! 😀
I had heard about wedding registry but baby registry is new for me. However, I agree that this helps both parties and does remove the guesswork.

Baby registry is very common is the USA.i remember, for my baby shower, we didn’t plan to do a baby registry but later looking at the positive sides, we decided to go for it. It is a win-win concept both for guests and the host.

I agree there are so many gifts that are left unused and some are just similar to ones parents had already received from others. It makes perfect sense to create a baby gift registry to make sure gifts are well loved when received and and well used.
