My Visit to Klay Prep School and Daycare, Noida Sector 62

In our last post, when we visited Klay Prep School and Day Care at Malibu town, we discussed the Key to right early Childhood education. And we also mentioned the reasons why KLAY Preschools are apt on their philosophy of being a perfect #parentingpartner. This post will focus on the Programs, the curriculum of KLAY Schools, which has a special place in every parent’s heart. New learning’s, Skill development of our toddlers and preschoolers is something, which matters a lot, right mom’s? We’re always curious and excited to see various developmental aspects of our children.

Recently, I also had a chance to visit the KLAY Prep school’s Noida Sector 62 center.

Here are the reasons that touched me being a mom :

1. Welcoming aura :

The vibrant, warm and settling atmosphere you’ll observe, helps infants and toddlers to settle up easily. The ratio of teacher to infant here is 3:1, along with nannies to look after (diaper changes, feeding sessions, nap sessions). This ratio goes upto 5:1 for Junior Toddler and 7:1 for Senior toddler and upwards. The presence of a Paediatric nurse, made me feel a lot happier as a mom. We visited Klay Prep school at Noida Sector 62, and let me tell you, the center is really big and welcoming. That’s their philosophy, as kids at this age needs ample space and exploratory options to enhance their learning skills.

2. Security :

Klay centers are Pro when it comes to safety aids and security. Their staff is “all female” and every member is Police verified (along with in-house verification from their centralized team). Live CCTV monitoring option is app-enabled and is given to each parent. This not just helps new parents watch their kids activities, but also helps in better monitoring for the management.

3. Curriculum :

Their curriculum is based on the theory of Multiple Intelligence of Dr. Howard Gardner, Inquiry-Based Learning and Experiential learning.

4. Learning :

KLAY Prep schools have 5 levels of Pre-School Programs :

A. Junior Toddler (15months+)

B. Senior Toddler (2years+)

C. KLAY Pre-K : 3 years Onwards

By the time toddlers are 3 years, their learning curve is growing exponentially. Now a systematic knowledge plan needs to be built in. The Pre-K program focusses on linguistic development, along with logical reasoning, numeric ability, and scientific thought. Children are grouped basis their learning abilities to promote focussed learning.

Here also, the whole ecosystem revolves around the learning zones narrated above, but at an advanced level.

D. KLAY Kindergarten K1 (4 years onwards)

Kids by the age of 4 need to be smart enough to show their IQ as well as EQ. So at this age, KLAY Prep school’s curriculum revolves around 5 pillar’s :

• Numerate ( Logical skill building, problem solving and Math)

E. KLAY Kindergarten K2 (5 years onwards)

This is an extension to the Pre-school program and the curriculum is designed to meet the above stated 5 pillars but in an advanced manner. Reinforcement of all skills, Personal, emotional, social, Literature, Language, Logical, problem solving, creative is again a must for this age. Their K-2 program is aligned with all boards, State, CBSE, ICSE and IB standards, so that the kids are well prepared to start their formal schooling.

5. DayCare Facility at KLAY Schools :

Apart from the pre-schooling, KLAY Prep Schools also have Daycare facilities for kids, to support parents resume back their offices. They have an induction system in place and No gas cooking makes the centers very much safe. Nutritious meals are cooked and the monthly meal planner is shared with parents. Kids having any type of food allergies is charted well in advance, to ensure that allergy free food and snacks are served to children. Quite thoughtful, isn’t it?

7. Play Time :

Play times are structured as well as unstructured (under the eyes of an observer), which are really fun for our preschoolers to bond over. Outdoor and Indoor play both are encouraged, basis the weather conditions. With regular Parent – Child workshop’s and carnivals, KLAY school’s give you ample opportunity to spend some quality time with your kids. It’s all about laughing, smiling, wondering and being a kid once again.
