Architectural marvels of Mughal Period at Lodhi Garden :
Amongst the architectural marvels, you can witness Bara Gumbad and Sheesh Gumbad, boasting the magnificence, right in the center of Lodhi gardens. Apart from these prominent ones, it also has Sikander Lodi Tomb and The tomb of Mohammed Shah. All these were laid during the period of the Mughal Dynasty. Just close to the Sikander’s tomb, there is an Eight Piered bridge, which is said to be built during Akbar’s reign.
Apart from the greens, Lodhi Gardens also house in a rainwater pond. Full of the most beautiful flocks of ducks quacking all around, its a fun watch for kids. This is our favorite spot, as Arham loves to watch these playful ducks. Simply choose to relax on the benches while the ducks are in the pond, or sit and watch as feed, sleep and walk together in a group. Ensure that you do not feed these ducks (it is prohibited) and let them have their own space (Let’s not disturb).

WOOWW! WOnderful pictures and the post
Lodhi Gardens has been one of my favourite haunts since childhood, and now it's my son's too. There is a lovely duck pond which is fantastic for the little ones. There is a free gymnasium area with machines where people can exercise. A children's play area with slides and swings is also nice. One can also see the herb garden, butterfly garden and many peacocks. One must not leave without trying the delicious fresh juice sold right outside Gate 1 :)
