Dos and Dont’s during conceiving : Pregnancy Guide

Are you planning for a baby?

It is a dream to most of the couple when it comes to conception in a few months after marriage. But not all of them conceive within the “quick” timeframe. At this point, it is very important for us to understand that every woman takes her own time to conceive and very much depends on the body, health and lifestyle. There is nothing wrong if you take a month or two longer to conceive. Time of conceiving does not define whether the pregnancy is healthy or not.

The emotions of a First Time Mom!

And..I became a Mom!

Those memories have been etched in my mind, when I saw those 2 pink lines for the first time. My heart was thumping loud, clouds of emotions were thundering, my hands felt numb and mind seemed to be blind, completely.

It was a planned Pregnancy, but I couldn’t understand those first time emotions. I was ecstatic, yet shaky since I would soon be a mom. Those feelings of love erupted immediately, but the sense of responsibility made me quite anxious. I saw myself in tears. Those were tears of happiness clouded by nervousness.

I was in Continue Reading

Bye Bye to Yelling, Start Understanding Kids!

Stop yelling, start Understanding kids!

Yelling silences your message..Speak quietly so that your kids can hear your words instead of just voice !!

“A year back, we were at a small kids party. Between the fun, we saw 2 kids making a mess out of cheeseling’s. Their mum’s took turns to convince them to stop, but they didn’t, after-all it was fun for them. And it ended with some yelling’s and suddenly everything sounded callous to me. Though I could see the guilt and remorse in a mum’s heart, I saw anger in the eyes of kids. Many days pass

Effective Ways to Teach Your Child Respect

Inculcating Respect in children

In order to live harmoniously in modern society, a person must have respect. We are all taught to respect other people and be polite in their company, which is a basic social standard and while we may have the very best of intentions, your own behaviour can encourage disrespectfulness in your child. Ask any child expert and they’ll tell you that children pay far more attention to what you do than what you say, and should you scold a waitress or speak your mind where you shouldn’t, you are, in fact, being disrespectful. For those who Continue Reading

Understanding and raising your Introvert Child and personality

Understanding Introvert Child and personality

It’s a world applauding the gregarious people, promoting and giving opportunities to the extrovert’s. We as parents have seen the same system right from our glorious childhood. Be it schools, who promote kids who speak up and involve in group participations, or be it professional life, wherein the out-spoken climbs up the ladder. Or be it our society, who values people who speak up and bond with a larger community more. To a certain extent, this reality has woven us with the terms as “social child” , “friendly child”, “participative kid”, but what about children Continue Reading

Though responsibilities, ambitions, must needed tag of “best mama” & “a great better half” run the minds frequently, but somewhere, … Continue Reading

Roller coaster ride called Motherhood!

The life was getting tougher, my attempts to provide a complete nutrition were being ignored. Not just ignored, they were being puked out! Indeed, motherhood is a roller coater ride wherein a mum always sails in the boat to ensure that her upbringing has a six sigma effect, with minimum defects.

Well, the comparison might sound little weird, but ask your inner self mama’s. Don’t you try to make your child 100% fool proof? Yes, we all try and kids are there to turn around all such efforts by 360 degrees.

Similar was my challenge Continue Reading

Motherhood! Seems one of the best word in the Oxford Dictionary. But, let’s admit it, if it brings a bouquet full of beautiful memories, it also accompanies a basket of worries. If it brings smile, it also pauses them with cries. If it makes you patient, it also brings craziness of a mum, if it makes you open minded, it also brings in possessiveness for your child. The perks it brings along are really which a mind cannot understand but only a heart full of emotions can!

And, as this journey continued, I worked harder to pass on the Examination Continue Reading
